Data Visualization


      My design, I showcased the top five countries with the most immigrants by placing their flags on a world map. This visual representation helps viewers quickly grasp the geographic distribution of high immigration. Accompanying this, I included a straightforward graph displaying the actual numbers for each country, making the data easily understandable.To maintain simplicity and neatness, I organized the information in a grid layout. This structure ensures a logical arrangement of elements, making it user-friendly. I also used a sans-serif font for easy reading, ensuring that the text is clean and straightforward.For the color scheme, I stuck with calming gray and blue tones to create a professional and visually pleasing look. This choice aims to maintain a clean and uncluttered design while conveying a sense of order and reliability. The overall goal of the design is to provide a clear and accessible visualization of immigration data, making it easy for viewers to comprehend the trends and differences among the top countries.Style wise, the grid layout, sans-serif font, and the blue/gray color palette collectively create a polished and approachable design. This simplicity ensures that viewers can quickly absorb and understand the immigration data, fostering a user-friendly experience.

  Creating this spread was about using colors and visuals to tell a powerful story. Red dominated, bringing urgency and intensity to the message. I picked Franklin Gothic for a bold, modern touch and Georgia for readability, aiming to strike a balance between impact and approachability. Graphic photos added emotion, aiming to show the harsh reality of discrimination. Playing with transparency created layers, symbolizing the obscured truth surrounding these issues. I crafted vectors like glasses with words about discrimination, acting as a symbolic lens for readers. Light piercing through pages represented the need to shine a light on societal injustices.
